He who binds himself to a joy,
Does the winged life destroy,
He who kisses the joy as it flies,
Lives in Eternity’s sunrise.
William Blake
Zen Kitties everywhere know that when you cling to things you forget to enjoy them. Allowing things to come and go as they please means life will always be perceived in a state of wonder.

Such excellent advise – and so appropriate as the beauty of fall peaks around us but will soon pass away.
Like us, Zen kitty also enjoys the autumn leaves. Perhaps swishing was what inspired her this month. xxxx
Hi Lucinda,
So very true………Zen kitty is very wise.
I try to live in the moment……every day brings me joy in one form or another.
There is not one day that passes that I am not held in the arms of wonder.
Zen kitty is so beautiful…….as I have said before he reminds me of my cat Ginger, that my mother rescued when I was a child.
BTW I forgot to mention the elderberries and flowers on the same plant.
The weather has tricked it into thinking Spring has arrived, hence the flower.
Have a lovely weekend….enjoy this late spell of warmth my friend.
That’s so interesting about the elderberries. I had never seen them together like that before. Each year has it’s quirks doesn’t it, I guess that helps to keep us in wonderment.
Perhaps your Ginger was also a zen kitty.
Hope you have a lovely warm weekend too xxx
Sorry to be a quote policeman but it’s ‘eternity’s sunrise’ !!
Lovely pic of your beautiful cat x
Ooops, thanks for the correction. All changed now!
i agree with Zen kitty! Be bound to joy and enjoy the world in a state of wonder! big hugs xoxoxoxo
Hi Lucinda
Thought I’d pop over and let you know that the little wooden bird hangers that you asked about are already in my Etsy shop. I forgot to mention on my post..oops
