Hi Lucinda
Just wanted to let you know about….
GREEN HEART: AN ANTHOLOGY OF HERBAL WISDOM (published by Green Heart Press, 2013)
Calling all herbalists…
We’re seeking original stories, essays, research, prose, art, poetry, case studies, observations, creation tales, recipes, musings and images that are well written, beautiful, inspiring, funny, true, fascinating, healing, heartwarming, weird and wonderful, imaginative…
For a collection of wonderful wisdom about healing plants from the wonderful wisdom of herbalists around the British Isles
A labour of love, a service…exchange for successful entries is a brief biography in the back of the book with contact details, 2 free copies, wholesale prices and bulk discounts
Profits made will be donated to a UK Herbal Project voted for by you, so please forward any suggestions
Please email emma@earthwiseherbal.com for submissions, ideas, for info, a chat…
Thank you x
Ooo how exciting, I shall get my thinking cap on!
What is the deadline for entries?
A lovely idea for an anthology, I’m sure it will be beautiful. x
Hooray! you have a lovely narrative style and your articles are very thorough.
I would like submissions in by the end of October to be published in late spring 2013. should be enough time for folks, plus this is a maternity leave project for me so it can be lovely and leisurely on my part too : )
The format has not yet been decided between a limited edition hardback or a series of four volumes published over the year, one each season. The idea is that they are collectable…keepsakes
Materials that are chosen for inclusion will be subject to editing if necessary but this will always be discussed with the author. I am researching copyright at the moment so will let you know
I will be encouraging folks to buy some to sell via their events and websites, friends and family, the wider the distribution the better. Plus I will be marketing them out for reviews.
You can submit more than one piece for consideration/inclusion. And if you know of or run a herbal project please nominate it.
Any questions, contact me and I might have the answer!
thanks for being involved
Emma x
